This guitar is fitted with a Shadow MIDI pickup. This enables David to input guitar sounds into the XP-80 which sound more realistic as they are produced on a real guitar.
The pickup is very sensitive and requires a different playing technique. It's never been tried live, but maybe one day, it may get an outing...
